One of the first SCUBA clubs established in the Chicago metropolitan area, the Tritons are dedicated to making diving a fun and safe adventure for our members. We are an independent dive club, unaffiliated with any dive shop; we exist solely to serve the needs of our members. Although you won't find the typical dive shop sales pressure, you will find a busy calendar filled with local dives, dive vacations, scuba diving classes and other social events. We try to offer something of interest to divers of every kind but more than just a dive club, we're a group of friends that enjoy being together.

We're proud members of the Illinois Council of Skin and Scuba Divers, a statewide organization comprised of dive clubs and other groups with an interest in skin and scuba diving and the preservation of our underwater heritage.

We're also proud supporters of the Divers Alert Network,  a medical and research organization dedicated to the safety and health of recreational scuba divers.

Whether you're a new diver (or a prospective diver) or a seasoned wreck crawler, come visit with us at one of our free monthly meetings and talk with some of our members about how you can benefit from belonging to The Tritons.
